Comedian, actor and musician of Russian-Jewish origin Adam Sandler was born into a family of immigrants - teacher and engineer in 1966, in New York. From early childhood, Adam established himself as a clown: he made his parents laugh, often participated in comic competitions at school, and later, while studying at the University of New York, performed in clubs. And although he received fame and success after participating in the comedy Show The Cosby, he is known to many as a great performer of dramatic roles.
The first famous films starring Adam Sandler were the comedy Billy Madison (1995) and Lucky Gilmore, which came out a year later. But comically, the actor was assigned the role of the Jewish special agent Zohan from the sensational film of 2008, Don't Mess with the Zohan. The talent to make people laugh earned Adam millions of dollars in royalties.
