Born January 18, 1984, Leningrad, USSR (St. Petersburg, Russia) - ballet dancer and actress.
Yevgenia Obraztsova's parents were ballet dancers, and from early childhood she spent a lot of time in the theater. In addition to ballet, she was attracted by the drama theater, but she chose the first one, entering the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet. The teachers of Obraztsova were Lyudmila Safonova, Inna Zubkovskaya and Marina Vasilieva. After graduating from the Academy in 2002, Evgenia was accepted into the troupe of the Mariinsky Theater. She came under the direction of Ninel Kurgapkina, and in the very first season she performed the main female role in the ballet Romeo and Juliet, and also took part in the Paris tour of the theater. In 2004, Obraztsova made her debut in the ballets La Sylphide and The Legend of Love.
A year later, she participated in the Moscow Competition of Ballet Dancers and Choreographers, where she won 1 prize in her category. Later she appeared on the stages of Italian theaters more than once, including La Scala.
Made her debut in London at Covent Garden as Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. Since 2010, she has been a guest soloist of the Moscow Academic Musical Theater for some time, where she rehearsed under the guidance of Margarita Drozdova.
In 2011 she took part in the show of the First Channel "Bolero" together with the figure skater Maxim Staviskiy.
Since 2012 - prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theater, where she studies under the direction of Lyudmila Semenyaka. Since May 2012 she studied under the guidance of Nadezhda Gracheva, and later began to rehearse under the guidance of Svetlana Adyrkhaeva.
