Born January 8, 1953, Jiquilpan de Juarez, Mexico - Mexican actor and producer.
After graduating from high school, he entered the National Institute of Fine Arts, where he studied acting at the Center for Experimental Theater. Damian continued his acting education at the Theater School of Veracruzana University. Subsequently, he himself became one of the teachers of this school. For eight years Damian was in the corpses of two of the most famous theaters in Mexico and worked under the guidance of the country's best directors.
Since his 1989 debut in Romero, Damian has starred in a variety of Mexican films. He also starred in six foreign films, including the adventure tale "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" starring Georgie Henley, Scandar Keynes and Ben Barnes. Damian was invited to a guest role in the American TV series "Narco", where the main characters were played by Wagner Moura and Pedro Pascal.
The actor has won three Ariel awards for Best Supporting Actor. He has received this prize more than once in the Best Actor nomination for his work in the films Bajo California: El limite del tiempo, The Chronicles, Herod's Law, Las vueltas del citrillo. In 2010, the actor won the Ariel Prize for his role as Benny in the comedy drama Hell. His co-stars in the film were Joaquin Cosio, Ernesto Gomez Cruz, Maria Rojo and Christian Ferrer.
