Born February 11, 1971, St John Wood, London is a British actor and producer.
He is best known for his role as detective Charlie Crews in the drama "Life is a Sentence" and Major Richard Winters in the mini-series "Brothers in Arms".
Lewis was nominated twice (in 2011 and 2012) for a Golden Globe Award for his performance as Sergeant Nicholas Brody on the Showtime Homeland television series, and this is his second time. In addition, in 2012 he also received an Emmy Award. In 2014 he was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire.
