Ekaterina began to study ballet at the age of 5. Without a qualifying round, she is invited to the already formed artistic gymnastics group at the Palace of Pioneers.
In 1992, the little ballerina entered the Kiev State Choreographic School (class of Tatiana Tayakina, People's Artist of the CCCP). After 2 years she was awarded a diploma of the 2nd All-Ukrainian Festival of Folk Art "All your children, Ukraine".
In 1997, at the competition for young performers, the ballerina won the prize of the Prix de Lausanne competition - an invitation to an internship in Lausanne (Switzerland).
While still a first-year student, at the age of 16, Ekaterina Kukhar made her debut as Masha in the ballet Nutcracker at Bunka Kaikan in Japan. The role of the young ballerina was entrusted to Valery Petrovich Kovtun, who at that time was working in Japan.
In 1999, Ekaterina graduated as an external student from the choreographic school under the direction of the director, People's Artist of the USSR Tatyana Alekseevna Tayakina. Catherine graduated from school with honors and honors.

The artist has toured in Europe, Canada, USA, Japan, Korea, China, etc. Member of the jury of ballet competitions and festivals. Dance teacher.
