Born December 14, 1992 - American singer, songwriter and record producer. Gradually gained recognition after posting her videos on YouTube at the age of 14. At the age of 16, Kelia passed a musical casting for the American Idol TV show. After dropping out of the show, Kelia began working on her own music and in 2012 released her first self-produced, written and mixed EP entitled Handmade Songs By Tori Kelly. The following year, after watching her YouTube video, Scooter Brownruen became Kelly's manager. He brought her to Capitol Records, with which she signed a contract in September 2013. The singer's second EP was Forewordruen, released in October 2013 as her first major-label release. Kelly's first album, Unbreakable Smileruen, was released on June 23, 2015. Lead single, Nobody Loveruen was released in the spring and became her first song to hit the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States. Kelly was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best New Artist at the 58th Grammy Awards.
