Born February 3, 1965 - American actress.
A breakthrough in her career came in 1995 when she was invited to shoot the comedy series NewsRadio. After that she starred in quite significant films "Liar, Liar", "Instinct" and "Primal Fear". In 1999, she landed the role of Abbigail Lockhart in Ambulance .
Following the completion of Ambulance, Tierney took on a supporting role on FX's 2009 series Save Me. On July 13, 2009, Tierney underwent surgery to remove a breast tumor. Due to health problems, she had to leave the NBC series "Parents", and subsequently the role of Tierney went to Lauren Graham. In 2010, she landed the lead role on ABC's "It's All True," which was canceled after seven episodes due to low ratings. In 2012-2013, she had a minor role in The Good Wife .
