Born September 27, 1974 - American writer, musician and actress. She is widely known as the guitarist and vocalist of Sleater-Kinney. Since 2010 he has been participating in the Wild Flag group. They released their self-titled debut album in September 2011. Brownsteen also created the comic show Portlandia with Fred Armisen, which was later nominated for an Emmy and won a Peabody.
