Born December 24, 1991, Doncaster, England - English actor, director, composer and singer.
During his school years, Louis tried himself as an actor. He attended Barnsley Acting School, and took part in school plays and musicals. At the age of 15, Louis got his first small film roles - starring in the film "If I Had You" and the TV series "Waterloo Street".
In 2010 Tomlinson joined The X Factor as a solo participant, but did not succeed in selecting a vocal competition. Judge Nicole Scherzinger invited him and 4 other participants to form a group. The group was given the name "One Direction" and also included Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Zane Malik. As a result, they took 3rd place on the show, and, having signed a contract with the Syco Music label, at the beginning of 2017 released 5 albums: Up All Night, Take Me Home, Midnight Memories, Four and Made in the AM
Louis is also involved in solo projects - in December 2016 he released a joint song with DJ Steve Aoki called "Just Hold On". In 2017, he performed this song at Aoki's concert as part of the Ultra Music Festival in Miami.
On July 21, 2017 the premiere of Tomlinson's new single "Back To You", recorded with the participation of Bebe Rex and Digital Farm Animals, took place.
