While studying acting, Nyasha completed an internship in the UK, at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Hatendi is better known as a theater actor - in 2008 he was nominated for the Laurence Olivier Award. His most notable screen works were the series Casual and the films Fast Freddie, the Widow and Me, The Ghost Writer, Narcopolis.
Nyasha Hatendi is fluent in French and South African Shona in addition to English.
