Born September 6, 1985 - American actress and comedian.
Graduated from De Paul University in 2008. At the same time, she began performing on the local stage, and then joined the Chicago Theater Improvisation Corpse. After moving to Los Angeles, Lapkus starred in the short-lived NBC sitcom Where Are You, Chelsea? in 2012. She has also been a guest on Worse, Pretty Women in Cleveland, and Abode of Lies. In 2013, Lapkus starred in the unsuccessful NBC pilot Joe, Joe and Jane, and then joined the series Orange is the New Black, in a supporting role.
Lauren has been married to actor and improviser Chris Alvarado since May 3, 2014, with whom she filed for divorce in January 2016.
