She was born on January 7, 1911 in Moscow in the family of an employee Vladimir Nikolaevich Mironov. Mother Elizaveta Ivanovna was a school teacher.
Graduated from the Lunacharsky Theater Technical School in 1927.
In the period from 1927 to 1931 - actress of the Moscow Operetta Theater and the Moscow Art Theater 2nd, then the Moscow Music Hall, the Central Theater of Transport. From February 1928 she performed on the stage.
Maria Mironova made her film debut in 1938, in the film Volga-Volga by G. V. Aleksandrov .
In 1938-1947 she worked at the Moscow Theater of Miniatures. An actress of bright talent, Maria Mironova has created a number of comedic and sharply satirical images (variety performances "Talking Letters", "You Will Know Them", "Family Matters", "Blots"). Maria Mironova performed monologues that were written for her by Arkady Arkanov, Grigory Gorin, Semyon Altov, Alexander Volodarsky, Maryan Belenky and others
For many years she worked in a duet with her husband, pop actor A.S. Menaker in the Theater of Two Actors created by them in 1952, in 1984 she published in co-authorship with him a book "... In my repertoire" .
Since 1990 - actress of the Moscow Theater Studio under the direction of O.P. Tabakov.
In 1995, her benefit performance took place at the School of Modern Play theater .
Died Maria Vladimirovna Mironova on November 13, 1997 in Moscow.
She was buried at the Vagankovsky cemetery.
