Luke Kirby - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips, Actor.
Born in Hamilton, Ontario to American parents. His mother is from Brooklyn, New York, and his father grew up, as Kirby says, "along the east coast." His parents moved from New York to Canada in 1974. Kirby studied dramatic arts at the National Theater School of Canada, graduating in 2000.
In television, some of Kirby's favorite roles have been on Slings and Arrows and Sex Traffic, which aired in the fall of 2004, where he worked with one of the UK's top filmmaker, David Yates, earned him a Gemini nomination. In the same year, he received a second Gemini nomination for his role in the drama series The Eleventh Hour. In the fall of 2005, Kirby was invited to play on the TV series "Tell Me You Love Me" in September 2007. More recently, he can be seen starring as Jimmy Burns on the TV series Cra $ h & Burn.
