Born September 3, 1984 - American actor, producer, director.
First appeared on the screens in episodic roles of the TV series "Ed" and "Urban Gothic". Later he starred in the series "Criminal Minds", "News Service", "Agents of SHIELD". He starred in the short films "Walter King" and "Totem Overthrow" .
Joel Johnstone's most serious work was the filming of the Astronaut Wives Club on ABC, where he played the astronaut Gus Grissom (starring Evan Handler, the star of Californication and Sex and the City, and also Luke Kirby), and the comedy series Old Age Is Not Joy, which tells about the everyday life of patients and nursing home staff.
Joel Johnstone has produced two short films, The Pilgrim & the Private Eye (2012) and Magritte Moment (2008). He also directed the film "The Pilgrim & the Private Eye".
