She began her career in the nineties. She rose to fame for her role as Grace Davison in the daytime soap One Life to Live in 1999 and has played around sixty screen roles since then.
Misner is best known for her numerous supporting roles on television, such as Gossip Girl and Into Sight. On the big screen, she is best known for her role in the 2002 musical "Chicago", for which she received the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Performance by a Cast. She also appeared in the films "Everyone says I love you" (1996), "Love by the rules and without" (2003) and "Forgotten" (2004), and in 2013 had minor roles in the TV series "Followers" and " Nashville "(as Stacy).
