Born July 15, 1961, Paris - French writer and screenwriter.

After completing his master's degree at the Sorbonne (based on the work of Gustave Flaubert), Granger became a copywriter and worked for an advertising agency. In 1989, at the age of 28, he became a renowned international correspondent for magazines such as Paris Match, Sunday Times and National Geographic.

Granger then started working as a freelancer working for his own L&G company and paying for his own travel. His reports from different countries of the world were an important source of inspiration for his literary works. It was during this period that he received two major awards in the world of journalism: the Reuters Prize (1991) and the World Press Prize (1992).

In 1994, Granger wrote his first novel, Flight of the Storks, which was seen more by critics than by the general public. However, his second novel, Purple Rivers, published in 1998, became quite popular, especially after it was screened in 2000.

In 1998, Granger received the Grand prix RTL-Lire (or Prix RTL grand public), an annual French literary prize established in 1992, for his novel Purple Rivers. Awarded based on the selection of a group of readers.

In the following years, the writer created several more novels, wrote the script for the film "Vidocq" and the text for the comic strip "The Curse of Zener".

Jean-Christophe has four children - two boys and two girls: Louis (Louis), Mathilde (Mathilde), Alize / Ise (Yse) and Keito (Kaito). He was married to journalist Virginie Luc, to whom he dedicated his first novel, Flight of the Storks. Later he was married to researcher Priscilla Telmon, to whom he dedicated the novel "Empire of the Wolves". The novel "Kaiken" became a kind of gift for the new darling, model and actress Lika Minamoto. The novel "Lontano" is dedicated to Ise and Keito.
