Born January 9, 1961, Michigan, USA - American producer, screenwriter and actor of Irish descent.
At the age of sixteen he entered Harvard University, graduating in 1981 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics. During his studies, he met the future screenwriter Mike Reiss, with whom he is friends and works closely to this day.
In 1981 he started working for the humorous magazine National Lampoon (National Lampoon), since 1983 - on television as a screenwriter, since 1989 - as a producer.
Al Jean has won eight Emmy Awards and one Annie Awards.
