Cassie is a member of the Slumber Party Girls. Five girls of the group were chosen from more than a thousand applicants. Their debut album Dance Revolution was released on October 6, 2006, but did not chart. During 2006-2007, the music from this album was used in the show of the same name Dance Revolution. In mid-2007, the band split up. In the same year, Cassie signed to Geffen Records as a solo artist.
