Born January 7, 1990 - American actress.
She is the daughter of Preston Lee and Heather Grimes and the eldest of seven siblings: Camryn, Dakota, Shelby, Matty, Ryder, Piper, Petton and others. She has played the role of Cassie Newman in the TV series Young and the Restless since 1997. In 2000, at the age of 10, she became the youngest winner of the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Young Actress in a Drama Series. Previously, this award was once awarded to actress Kimberly McCullough at the age of 11. In May 2005, the character Grimes was removed from the show due to the fact that the heroine Gamryn in the plot dies from injuries sustained in a car accident. Later, her character appeared in the series as a ghost. In 2014, she returned to the series with a new role as a girl similar in character to Cassie, Meraia Coopland, who, as it was later revealed in the series, is Cassie's twin sister. On May 5, 2015 it became known that Grimes had signed a contract with the TV series "The Young and the Restless" .
In 2001, Grimes starred in Password Swordfish, opposite Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry and John Travolta. She also starred in such television series as "The Medium", "Military Legal Service" and "Ambulance", casting for which was conducted by her maternal uncle, Scott Grimes.
