Bitz grew up in Berlin and Manhattan. She studied at the New School of Muscota, Harlem School of Art, Lagarde School of Art and Skidmore College, graduating with a BA in French.
Later she entered Skidmore College, from which she graduated with a bachelor's degree in French.
Zazie began her acting career with short films in which she played small roles.
The actress has dual citizenship in Germany and the United States. Speaks fluently in German, French and English.
