French actor and singer.
Real name and surname - Edward Konstantinovsky.
Born into a family of Russian emigrants. He studied singing in Vienna, Austria. Then he returned to the United States, but there was no particular success in the singing field. In 1936 he performed a small role in the musical film "Born to Dance".
Eddie Constantin came to France in 1950 and became known as a songwriter thanks to the friendship and support of Edith Piaf. In the 60s, he received French citizenship.
