Born June 13, 1963 - American Comedy Writer, Producer, and Director.
Daniels joined the writers of The Simpsons for Season 5 of the television series. There he joined his friend and Harvard classmate Conan O'Brien. Daniels has written several classic episodes of The Simpsons such as Lisa's Wedding, Bart Sells His Soul, and 22 Short Films About Springfield. In 1996, he left The Simpsons, co-creating with Mike Judge his own show, The King of the Hill, which ran for 13 seasons before being canceled in 2009. In parallel to King of the Hill, Daniels successfully adapted the British TV series The Office for American television, and in 2009 created another project for NBC - the series Parks and Recreation .
Daniels has been nominated for Emmy 12 times and won the statuette 4 times.
