Born June 26, 1970 - American actor.
Letcher began his acting career with The Tropic Pickle by Jeff Daniels. Letcher's acting impressed Jeff so much that he arranged for the actor to meet with Ron Maxwell, the director of Gettysburg. Then, taking advantage of Jeff's advice, Matt moved to Los Angeles, where he quickly found work on television. In 1995, Matt was selected to write the Nancy Travis sitcom Nearly Ideal, which ran for a season and a half. In 1998, he regularly starred in the TV series Living in Captivity. In the same year, he appeared in The Mask of Zorro as Captain Harrison Love. Letcher also took part in the filming of the mini-series "Lady of the New Camelot" and in the television films "The King of Texas", "Beach Boys: The American Family", "When Billy Beats Bobby" and "Stolen Innocence" .
In 2003, Letcher again worked with Jeff Daniels on Gods and Generals, the Gettysburg prequel, and his new movie Sex Vacuum Cleaner. At the same time, Letcher returned to The Purple Rose Theater to star in the world premiere of Landford Wilson's Rain Dance.
