Born May 9, 1951 is an American television actress. She is best known for her role in the comedy series The Wonderful Years, where she starred for six seasons, from 1988 to 1993.
Mills was born in Chicago, Illinois to a television producer. She appeared on several shows, and in 1979 landed the female lead on the sitcom Association. Since then, she has played more than fifty roles on the screen and in addition to "The Wonderful Years" is known for her supporting roles in the series "Blues Hill Street" and "Doctor Queen, Doctor Woman". Beginning in 2006, Mills has played the role of Pamela Douglas, Susan Flannery's mentally unstable estranged sister in the daytime soap opera The Daring and the Beautiful .
Mills lives in Los Angeles with her husband, actor Orson Bean, who is 23 years her senior. They got married in 1993.
