Born September 10, 1954, Philadelphia - American actor and film director.
Has been acting in films since 1981. He is best known for his role as detective Meldrick Lewis in the TV series "Slaughter Department". In the same series, Johnson's directorial career began with the staging of individual episodes, and continued in the series "Her Name was Nikita", "Shield" and others. In 2003, his feature film SWAT Special Forces of the City of Angels was released, starring Samuel L. Jackson and Colin Farrell.
Johnson has two sisters: Molly is a jazz singer, Taborah is an actress. He was married twice.
