Born December 13, 1970 - American actor.
He has brothers Adam Johnson and Brad Johnson. He has been married to actress Robin Lively since September 25, 1999. The couple have three children: Bailen, Kate and son Wyatt Blake.
He spent most of his childhood on television with his mother Charlene Johnson, who was a hairdresser for TV shows including Mork and Mindy (1978) and Charlie's Angels (1976). He and his family moved to Park City, Utah, USA when he was fourteen.
In the High School Musical films, Johnson played the East High basketball coach, who is also the father of protagonist Troy Bolton (played by Zac Efron) .
In 2007, Johnson directed his first work as a screenwriter and director, The Run, filmed in Paraguay.
