Born November 4, 1950 - American television actress.
Post is best known for her leading female roles in the series "Stuntmen" (1982-1985), "Night Court" (1984-1992) and "Burning with passion" (1992-1995). From 1982 to 1995, she continuously starred in three successful shows, a rarity for television actresses, before starring in several made-for-television films.
The daughter of physicist Richard F. Post, was born in Palo Alto, California and graduated from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. Early in her career, she worked on several game shows, and in the late seventies began to play bit parts on television. In addition to her television roles, Post played the role of Cameron Diaz's mother in the 1998 movie Everybody's Crazy About Mary. Post is married to actor Michael A. Ross and they have two children.
