Born February 22, 1985 in Ohio, USA - American actor.
He has a younger sister, Emily, born in 1989. The Roerig family business is the production of tombstones, Zak's father and grandfather are engaged in this, and he himself helped his father when he grew up. In high school, Zach played soccer and wrestled.
While at school, he was part of the main school football team and was involved in wrestling.
In Ohio, Zach was a member of the Stone Model & Talent Agency, then went to New York and joined the Ford Models agency. He made his television debut in an episode of Law & Order in 2004. His first notable television role was the character Casey Hughes in the soap opera How the World Turns. At first, the role was episodic, but soon, in March 2005, Zack signed a full-fledged contract to shoot in this series.
Zach starred in a commercial for sportswear and footwear for Foot Locker. Featured in print ads for JCPenny and Marshall Fields.

In June 2013, the actor filed a lawsuit in the state of Georgia claiming sole custody of the child. The girl's mother, Alanna Turner, is in prison. She has previously been prosecuted three times for misdemeanors and is currently dating her fellow Vampire Diaries Natalie Kelly.
