Born November 1, 1962, Beeson, Illinois is an American voice actress, screenwriter, director, and actress.
She began her career as an animation director in 1985.
In 1994, Brenda wrote the screenplay for The Lion King, for which she won the 1994 Annie Award for Best Individual Achievement for Historical Contribution to Animation. In 1998, together with Steve Hickner and Simon Wells, she directed the cartoon Prince of Egypt.
