Born July 14, 1928 - American actress.
In 1948 she was signed to Paramount Pictures and after several minor roles attracted the attention of Hollywood directors, among whom was Billy Wilder. In 1950, he invited Olson to play Betty Slate in his film Sunset Boulevard, which earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Her colleague in this film was William Holden, the union with whom was considered very successful and later, throughout the 1950s, they starred together several more times. In 1950, Nancy married the poet Alan J. Lerner, from whom she gave birth to two daughters. They divorced in 1957. Her second husband was businessman Alan W. Livingstone, who became the father of her son.
