Imanol Arias started out as an actor in a traveling theater group touring the Basque Country and made his television debut in 1976. His first film work was the role in the 1981 film Cecilia by Umberto Solas. In 1987, the actor was awarded the San Sebastian Film Festival Prize for his role as Eleuterio Sanchez in Lute: He Moves or Explodes. Since 1976, Arias has starred in over 70 motion pictures and television programs. Currently starring in one of the popular Spanish television series. Imanol Arias is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
