Born June 21, 1982, Casterville is an American actor.
After graduating from high school, he attended the Academy of Arts in Michigan. In 2004, he completed acting classes at the Juilliard School in New York. For some time he performed in comedy shows in New York and Los Angeles.
In February 2007, he played Bertram Cates in the Broadway production of Reap the Storm at the Lyceum Theater. In April 2008, Benjamin appeared as Chevalier Danseny in Dangerous Liaisons at the Roundabout Theater. Benjamin's other theatrical works include The Arrangements of the Atlantic Theater Community, several productions at the Lincoln Theater, Lady Windermere's Fan, and Romeo and Juliet at the Williams Town Theater Festival.
Benjamin also played Andrew Jackson, the lead role in Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson. For this role, he refused to participate in the movie "X-Men: First Class" as the Beast.
In 2012 he starred in President Lincoln: The Vampire Hunter and in 2015 in In the Heart of the Sea.
