In 1944, Noah, from a working class family, was drafted into the American army. He did not have time to fight, but received benefits of a war veteran, including the right to a state subsidy for university studies. The parents wanted their son to become a doctor and have a guaranteed income, but Noah himself, having become better acquainted with medicine, chose journalism.
Subsequently, for several decades he worked as an editor in various journals in medicine and biology. Literary creativity has become something of a hobby, and all the writer's novels, both historical and related to the present, tell exclusively about doctors. Possessing certain professional knowledge, knowing well the "inner cuisine" of medicine, the writer was able to reliably, convincingly, and most importantly, captivatingly tell about the fate of his heroes, who are in love with the cause to which they have devoted their whole lives. International recognition came to him after the publication of the book “Healer. Disciple of Avicenna ”, the first novel of the saga.
