Born October 31, 1974, Washington, DC is an American filmmaker, ad and video director, producer and screenwriter.
After graduating from Wesley University, he moved to San Francisco. There he started working as a freelance HTML programmer. Later he began to shoot commercials and music videos. In 2009, he directed his first feature film, Welcome to Zombieland, which was a huge box office success and received critical acclaim. His second film, Catching 30 Minutes, was released in 2011.
Ruben's next film was the crime drama Gangster Hunters, which premiered in 2013.
