Born May 9, 1986 - American actress, one of the daughters of Meryl Streep.
Gummer was born in New York, but grew up in Los Angeles and Connecticut, along with older brother Henry Wolfe Gummer, older sister Mamie Gummer and younger sister Louise. Her first screen appearance was in 1993, in Streep's "House of the Spirits." In 2008, she began her professional acting career, performing on the small stage, and then moved to television with the lead role in the TeenNick series "Giant". Since then she has appeared with small roles in the films "Larry Crown" and "Sweet Frances," and also took on minor roles in the series "The Last Hour" and "News" .
In 2014, following her role in Local, Gummer landed a regular supporting role on the CBS series Beyond. That same year, she took on a supporting role as a nurse in the fourth season of FX's American Horror Story.
