Born May 11, 1968 - American film and television actor.
Donovan was born in Amesbury, Massachusetts, where he lived with two brothers, Michael and Sean, and his mother.
While at Amesbury High School, he studied with teacher Patricia Hoyt. She helped him open a drama club, and then found him a personal scholarship that allowed him to "take part in a summer program that helped pave the way for his acting career." He attended Bridgewater State University and then transferred to the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where he graduated with a BA in Theater Arts. After that, Donovan got a job as a passenger bus driver at the Univerity Massachusetts Transit Sevice. He worked to earn his master's degree from the Tisch School of the Arts, part of New York University.
After graduating from New York University, Donovan made his debut in the movie Inside Out. Since then, he has played major and minor roles in various films and television series, such as Slaughter Department, Hustle City, Pretender, Detective Monk, CSI: Miami Crime Scene, Witch's Blade and Law and Order ”,“ Substitution ”. He also starred in several television films and as the villain in the television series The Threshold. Donovan appeared as the insolent broker Vance Manson in the romantic comedy film Rules of Removal: The Hitch Method .
At the moment, he is starring in the main role of the television series "Black Mark".
