Born September 12, 1983 in Kiev - Ukrainian journalist.
In addition to school, Katya studied music and dance (she danced in the choreographic ensemble "Sokolyata"). At the age of thirteen, she began her professional modeling career, graduated from the Bagheera agency's modeling school. At the age of 14, after graduating from the ninth grade, she went to film in Tokyo for three months. Later there were filming in Germany, England, France. Katya passed her final exams at school as an external student due to a busy filming schedule in Paris.
At the age of 18, Katya finished her modeling career and returned to live in Ukraine. She married People's Deputy of Ukraine from the Green Party Oleg Polishchuk and in 2002 gave birth to a son, Ilya, from him. Even during her pregnancy, Katya decided to devote herself to television journalism. Due to her poor knowledge of the Ukrainian language, four months after the birth of the child, she began to study with a teacher to practice her speech, diction, and voice skills. Graduated from the history faculty of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev in absentia.
The first experience of television journalism appeared after working as a freelance correspondent for the First National Channel. In 2005, Katya passed the casting and became the host of the Secular Chronicles project on the Tonis TV channel. In 2007 she became the host of the "High Life" program at the First National. Since August 2008, the program began to appear on the 1 + 1 TV channel .
In 2009 she took part in the second season of the "I Dance for You" program on the "1 + 1" channel with her partner Andrey Krysem. In 2012, she became the host of the show "Voice of the Country" on "1 + 1". In 2012, the channel launched the talent show “Voice. Children ”, in which Katya's role as a presenter has changed - she helped children to cope with the anxiety before going on stage.
In March 2017, after the birth of her second son, she continued to work as a presenter and reporter in "High Life". However, due to her employment in childcare, well-known Ukrainian persons help Katerina as reporters for the program.
