Ukrainian group that appeared in 2006 in Kiev. The creators of the collective were Dmitry Tsiperdyuk and Sergey (Shura) Gera. Each of them already had experience in musical creativity: Tsiperdyuk played in the Ivano-Frankivsk group "Morra", produced the team "La Manche". Gera, in turn, used to play in the Scriabin group, now in the Druha Rika group, he also collaborated with the singer Katya Chilly. Shura became interested in the work of Dmitry (stage name - Dmitri), and in the early summer of 2007 the album of the same name by the group Dazzle Dreams was released. Dmitri played the main part of the music, and then he, together with Shura, was engaged in the arrangement and electronicization of the material.
The peculiarity of the music of this group lies in the fact that the guys decided to use a symphony orchestra of 50 people in their singles and videos. It is also noteworthy that this is the only Ukrainian group that performed with The Chemical Brothers on the same stage.
The group has been striving all the time to experiment, try new elements and themes. They shot the clip "Icon", dedicated to the decline of spiritual and moral values, where they played aliens. The guys also created the ethno-electronic show “Dazzle Dreams. Groove Inspira ”, traveled to Nepal, collecting elements of local ethnomusic there to create a new album“ D. Dreams Sound System-Nepal ". In October 2007, another member joined the group - Greg Ignatovich. Prior to that, he was engaged in the arrangement of Tsiperdyuk's music.
The band's desire for innovation did not stop, Dazzle Dreams released a new album in May 2009 "(Go! Go! Go!) Disco killers", on the compositions of which clips were shot, and one of them ("Emotional Lady") was even presented at Eurovision 2010. Then a new video for the song "Indigo" is released in 2011, then clips "Message" and "Diva Maria". The latest Dazzle Dreams album “Diva” contains thirteen synth-pop and folk songs.
Dazzle Dreams has been on the stage for 9 years, but recently the group's creativity has declined, and the participants are engaged in solo projects. Tsiperdyuk is producing his project LUIKU, Gera is collaborating with the leader of the Druha Rika group Valery Kharchishin, Greg is arranging. The creative decline has noticeably reduced the popularity of the group, a couple of years ago their videos were played on Ukrainian music channels, the music sounded in clubs, discos and radio channels.
