February 19, 1957, Vienna - February 6, 1998, Dominican Republic, better known under the stage name Falco (German Falco), is a musician, performer in the style of rap, pop and rock. Four songs performed by Falco reached # 1 on the charts: "Der Kommissar", "Rock Me Amadeus", "Jeanny", and "Coming Home (Jeanny Part 2)". He became the first and so far the only artist to hit the top spot in the US with a song in German.
