Born in 1981, Arteyn, Dublin, Ireland is an Irish director, producer and screenwriter.
He studied film at GMIT and IADT in Ireland and studied art at Central Saint Martins in London. Prior to creating feature films, Shore worked as Commercial Director for major global brands.
In 2006 Gary Shore directed the horror short film The Draft. He also co-produced (with Shane Callan) his debut tape. Gary drew general attention to his person in 2009, when he created the trailer for the film "The Cup of Tears", which subsequently led Shor to sign a contract with the studio "Working Title Films", and later with the company "Universal".
It was at Universal Studios that Gary Shore created his first full-length film, the fantastic Dracula. Initially, the representatives of the studio "Universal" commissioned Australian Alex Proyas to be involved in directing, and the shooting was to take place in Australia. But due to a too high budget, the creation process was suspended, and Proyas left the project. In the winter of 2012, Gary Shore began negotiations with the studio about his participation in the film as a new director, in May 2013 it was officially announced that Shore would be director, and filming would last several months, starting in August 2013. Filming took place in Northern Ireland, and British actor Luke Evans was invited to the main role. The premiere of his debut tape was postponed for a long time, its dates were delayed and shifted back, and, in the end, the first show took place on October 1, 2014 in the United States.
