Born December 5, 1961, Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - American poet and writer.
Laura Kasishke studied at Michigan and Columbia Universities. She began her literary career with the publication of several books of poetry in the 1990s. In parallel with the activities of the poetess, she became a novelist in 1997. Laura is currently Professor of English and Literature at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
Laura Kasishke is the author of 9 books of poetry and 9 novels, three of which are filmed. Winner of numerous awards, both for prose and poetry. Especially popular in France.
