She was born in Melbourne, Victoria. In 2007, Brent graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Arts and a year later made his debut in the TV series "The Legend of the Seeker". But the real international fame came to the actress with the film "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Voyage of the Dawn Treader" in 2010, where Laura played Ramanda's daughter.
