Born September 27, 1984, Mexico City is a Mexican film and television actor.

From an early age he was interested in acting. Alejandro Reza, casting for the film Street (2001), drew attention to the talented young man and invited him to play one of the main roles. The next picture, in which Armando starred, was the more serious Love That Hurts. In Mexico, the film was a huge success, with Hernandez himself receiving the Silver Goddess for Best Supporting Actor, and was also nominated in a similar category for the Ariel Award. At the same time, he began to appear actively on Mexican television, starring in the teenage telenovela "Class 406", which was broadcast in more than fifteen countries around the world.

Four years after his film debut, Armando landed the lead role in Beyond the Heavens, along with famous Mexican actors such as Demian Bishir and Elisabeth Cervantes. He was nominated for Ariel for the second time, this time for Best Actor. The next high-profile project with Hernandez's participation was “Blood of My Blood”, where he starred with Jorge Adrian Espindola. This picture won the jury prize at the Sundance Festival, and at the Turkish Film Festival the actor himself received the prize for Best Actor. He shared this award with Jesus Ochoa.

In 2007, Armando was invited to play the lead role in the psychological thriller based on real events, “The Reed. Performance". A year later, he reunited with Maya Zapata and Luis Fernando Pena (together they played in Armando's first film, The Street) in Surprise.
