Very soon, the German duet of Dieter Bohlen and Thomas Anders will thunder all over the world, occupying the top of the tops of all radio stations not only in Germany, but also on the most remote continents, but for now it is 1984 outside, and Bohlen is desperately looking for a voice with which he could to record the composition Was macht das schon. At the same time, Anders flies to Hamburg - flies out to become a star!
Already the first song of Modern Talking becomes a popular hit, later the group releases several more singles, all in German, but the guys understand that universal recognition can be obtained only with the help of English-language compositions.
In September 1984 it was possible to watch Modern Talking in a completely different role - their song You Are My Heart thundered all over Europe, becoming a super hit. In a few months they will consolidate their popularity thanks to the single You Can Win, and a little later they will completely present to a wide audience an incredibly successful album called The First Album, recognized as one of the best musical works of its time.
And although the popularity of Modern Talking steadily strove upward, the internal contradictions of its members, in the end, lead to an unexpected breakup of the group - this happened in 1987. Dylan and Anders are actively developing their solo careers, but none of them could repeat the success of previous years, and therefore in 1998 the legendary duo reunites and is confidently gaining momentum. The first album of Modern Talking after a huge creative break was Back For Good, which went four times platinum in Germany. Between 1999 and 2003, the band released 5 more albums, several of which also went platinum.
But loyal fans of Modern Talking were in for a bitter disappointment: on June 23, 2003, the performers released their last collection of hits, The Final Album, and in August of the same year they announced the final breakup of the band.
Modern Talking 2015 remains a unique phenomenon of our time: as such, the duo no longer exists, its members are constantly in conflict and quarrel with each other, but their compositions continue to remain top-ranked, and the number of loyal fans does not decrease even after many years. Apparently, this is the very talent in its purest form.
