Born November 2, 1967 - Japanese voice actor. Born in Nissin City, Aichi Prefecture. From 1988 to March 2009 he worked for Mausu Promotion (until 1990 known as Ezaki Production). In 2004, Ishida was voted the most popular voice actor by the Japanese magazine Animage, receiving an award from that magazine called Anime Grand Prix for voicing a character named Asuran Zara (Athrun Zala). In 2007, he was voted Best Supporting Actor for the voice of the same character in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny at the Seiyu Awards.
