Born June 3, 1946 in England to a former actress and businessman, PENELOPE WILTON moved to London in her youth and entered the Drama Center. After she entered the stage in the early 1970s, theater became her first love. Among the numerous awards for her stage work, Wilton has won the London Critics Society's Best Actress award twice: in 1981 for Much Ado About Nothing and in 1993 for The Deep Blue Sea.
