Was born in 1964 in Frankfurt, Germany. Best known for his horror film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
In his youth, Markus Nispel worked as an art director at the Frankfurt branch of the Young & Rubicam advertising agency. However, in 1984, he decided that his career would be better in the New World, and left for the United States, where he founded his own advertising company.
To date, Nispel is best known as the author of numerous commercials (for companies such as Coca-Cola, Kodak, Marlboro, Nike, Panasonic) and music videos.
