Born June 17, 1961, Miyagi, Japan is a Japanese actor and voice actor.
Koichi first worked for a while as the manager of the Tagajo basketball team. Declared to himself after the voiceover of one of the characters in the anime "Megazona 23" (1985), which gave a rapid start to his career as a voice actor. Moreover, he worked not only with anime, but also with various video games. The actor gave his voice to such famous and cult anime as "Cowboy Bebop", "Vampire Hunter Dee: Bloodlust", "Outsider Sword Actor", "Ghost in the Shell: Loner Syndrome", "Ghost in the Shell 2.0". In addition, in his homeland he is the voice of Eddie Murphy, Jim Carrey, Robin Williams and other famous American actors.
In 1997, he became the director of the Okha Suta children's variety television show. He was married to Mika Canari, with whom he married in 1994. But, the couple broke up, having lived together for 12 years. They live separately in Tokyo, Koichi in her 4-storey building, and she in her apartment.
