Lisa Hansen is one of the most prolific and successful producers in Los Angeles. As Executive Vice President, Hansen has worked at BlueTel since the company was founded in the 1980s. In addition to working to transform CineTel into one of the largest independent film studios, Hansen also heads Cinetel Pictures, a separate production unit formed by her. At CineTel, which produces six to eight films a year, Hansen not only oversees the day-to-day operations of the design, production and editing of films, but also oversees the creation of an atmosphere of creative freedom conducive to the production of quality cinema. “I love discovering new talent and launching their careers,” says Hansen. “This is one of the main benefits of being an independent producer.” Gruvemuvestart Originally from Chicago, Hansen began her career as a radio host in Gillette, Wyoming.
