Emmanuel Kaminka was born in May 1902 (Kharkov). Even at school he was very fond of the stage, often read poetry, participated in amateur theatrical performances. From acting education, Emmanuel has only a studio at the Drama Theater of the city of Kharkov. N. Sinelnikov was his teacher. The talented young man was noticed and left to work as an actor. After 4 years he went to Moscow, because he was invited to the Zamoskvoretsky Theater. Kaminka did not work there for long, and already in 1925 he moved to Comedy (the famous Moscow theater). In addition to working on stage as an actor, he also performed with a variety of stories and feuilletons. The roles of Emmanuel Fireplaces in the theater were not the main ones, but memorable. These are Conkelling from The Lost Daughter, Fon-Tsimpo from The Well-Made Tailcoat, Gershuni from Azef, Savorn from Madame San-Zhen, Isaac from Rabunden's Heirs.
Was a master of artistic words. Therefore, in 1930 he completely switched to the stage, leaving the theater in the past. Kaminka brilliantly performed a wide variety of repertoires. He could make people laugh, cry, think. Classical stories, humorous sketches, and satirical short stories - nothing could leave the viewer indifferent.

In 1939, his program from The History of a City by M. Saltykov-Shchedrin gained fame. Emmanuel showed many essays, fairy tales, fragments from this satirical novel. Kaminka's favorite writer and source of inspiration was Sholem Aleichem. Performances based on the stories of this man have become the hallmark of the actor. The final program was based on the stories of Kuprin and Bunin (1971).

During his life, the artist has prepared more than 15 solo programs, read hundreds of works. How many years Emmanuel Kaminka could still delight the audience with his talent, but, unfortunately, on June 4, 1972, the actor's life was cut short. He was buried at the Moscow Novodevichy cemetery.
